Escape Rooms in Whitehaven

An Escape Room is a game in which a team of players discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in a room in order to achieve a specific goal, usually in a limited amount of time. It is good for team building, or just a fun way of 'Escaping' from everyday life by doing something different. It is also referred to as 'escape game', 'puzzle room', 'exit game', or 'riddle room'. In spite of the name, escaping a room may not be the main goal for the players.

In Whitehaven we currently operate two Escape Rooms at King's Corner (see below), while the third room is already in the planning phase. You can book online for your next adventure, or purchase an Escape Room Gift Card for your friends or loved ones. Online bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you're looking for a same day adventure, feel free to pop in or call us on 07845448046 and ask for availability.

We recommend doing The Hideout first, then The Professor on an other date, due to the increasing difficulty level. Each of these activities take roughly an hour to complete. Real fanatics can do both rooms together if they want to, with a short break in between for refreshments.

The Hideout

You probably don't remember the Whitehaven Central Bank heist where the criminal robbed the safe and left unnoticed. The officials tried not to make a big sensation out of it.

An anonymous tipper now claims they have found the robber. They said he is renting room 23 on the 2nd floor of King's Corner.

You have one hour to find all the stolen goods and report back to your boss.  Can you beat the "Invisible Man" at his own game?

Maximum number of players: 6
Recommended number of players: 2-4

The Professor

We found a letter from Professor Collins, adressed to his nephew. He's asking for help to retrieve an ancient map from his office. Get ready for the treasure hunt and follow the professor's footsteps in his journey to find the traces of a pre-historic tribe.

This activity takes 60-90 minutes to complete, but has no strict time limit because of it's difficulty. If you wear glasses, make sure you bring them with you.

Entry fee: £25 per person
